Driveaway Hub
Last Updated: August 26, 2026
Driveaway Hub ("Driveaway Hub," "we," "our," or "the Service") provides tools and community resources for driveaway drivers and services for driveaway companies.
We take driver privacy seriously. Driver account information and individual trip records are not provided to driveaway companies through our Company Intelligence products. Driver-reported information may, however, be used in de-identified and/or aggregated form to create industry statistics, benchmarks, trends, workforce insights, and other company-facing products as described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create or use a Driveaway Hub account, we may collect information such as:
- Email address
- Name, if provided
- Account type
- Account creation date
- Authentication information
- Account preferences and settings
Driver Trip Data
When a driver records a trip, we may collect information such as:

- Other information voluntarily entered in connection with a trip
Individual trip records remain associated with the driver's private account for purposes such as trip tracking, calculations, reporting, and account history.
Driveaway companies do not receive access to an individual driver's private trip records through Company Intelligence.
However, information derived from driver-reported trips may be de-identified, aggregated, analyzed, and used to create Driveaway Hub products, statistics, reports, benchmarks, and industry intelligence.
Driver Capability Information
Drivers may provide information about their professional qualifications and experience, including:
- CDL class

Driver Discovery Information
Driver Discovery is a separate, optional feature.
Drivers may choose whether to allow verified driveaway companies to discover a limited professional profile.
Discovery is off by default.
When a driver enables Discovery, the driver controls which eligible professional fields may be displayed.
Depending on the driver's selections, discoverable information may include:
- CDL class
- Endorsements
- CDL restrictions
- TWIC status
- Canada eligibility
- Years in driveaway
- Unit-type experience
- CNG experience
- Manual-transmission experience
- State
Driver Discovery does not provide companies with the driver's:
- Exact home ZIP code
- Email address
- Phone number
- Earnings
- Individual trip history
- Unit IDs or VINs
- Document numbers
- Document expiration dates
- Detailed DOT medical information
Enabling Driver Discovery does not mean that a driver is unemployed, seeking work, available for work, or unaffiliated with another company.
Drivers may disable Discovery or change the fields they share through their account settings.
Reviews and Community Content
Users may submit information intended for display to others, including:
- Company reviews and ratings
- Shuttle-provider information
- Community reports
- Other voluntarily submitted public or community content
Reviews may be presented anonymously to other users and companies.
Companies may be permitted to publicly respond to approved reviews.
Company Account Information
For company representatives, we may collect:
- Name and business contact information
- Company affiliation
- Company profile information
- Company description
- Application or recruiting URL
- Company verification or claim information
- Subscription and account status
- Recruiting activity
- Review responses
- Service usage information
- Billing information when paid subscriptions are offered
Payment-card information may be processed by a third-party payment processor rather than stored directly by Driveaway Hub.
Device and Technical Information
We may automatically collect limited technical information such as:
- Device type
- Operating system
- Browser
- App version
- IP address
- Crash or diagnostic information
- Basic usage and performance analytics
- Security and authentication events
Location information may also be used when necessary for features such as current-location services, maps, routing, or CNG station functionality and when permission has been granted by the device user.

3. Use of Driver Data in Company Intelligence
Driver-reported data may be used to create commercial products offered to driveaway companies.
These products may include information and analysis relating to:
- Average CPM
- Gross and net earnings
- Driver expenses
- Driver retention of gross earnings
- Trip activity
- Pickup and delivery geography
- Industry and company comparisons
- Trends and benchmarks
- Driver sentiment
- Workforce qualifications and experience
- CDL and endorsement distribution
- Unit-type experience
- CNG or manual-transmission experience
- Recent reported company activity
- Potential workforce characteristics
- Other industry statistics derived from Driveaway Hub data
Company Intelligence is designed to use de-identified and/or aggregated information rather than identifying individual drivers.
Where minimum sample requirements are used, company-specific analytics may be withheld until enough qualifying information exists to reduce privacy and identification risk.
Driveaway Hub will not provide Company Intelligence customers with the identity of the individual driver responsible for a particular trip record or data point.
We maintain safeguards intended to prevent Company Intelligence from being used to identify individual drivers.
4. No Re-Identification
Driveaway Hub intends to maintain information represented as de-identified in de-identified form and does not use Company Intelligence to reveal the identity of individual drivers.
Companies and other recipients of de-identified or aggregated information are prohibited from attempting to:
- Re-identify a driver
- Match anonymous statistics to a particular driver
- Determine which driver submitted a particular trip
- Circumvent minimum-sample privacy protections
- Combine Driveaway Hub data with other information for the purpose of identifying an anonymous contributor
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for attempting to defeat these privacy protections.
5. Driver Discovery Is Different From Company Intelligence
Company Intelligence and Driver Discovery are separate features.
Company Intelligence uses de-identified and/or aggregated information and does not reveal the contributing driver's identity.
Driver Discovery is voluntary. A driver must affirmatively enable Discovery before selected professional profile information becomes visible to verified companies.
Enabling or disabling Driver Discovery does not affect whether properly de-identified or aggregated information may be included in Company Intelligence.
6. Company Recruiting Interest
A verified company may be allowed to express recruiting interest in a driver who has enabled Discovery.
Driveaway Hub may notify that driver that a company believes the driver's disclosed qualifications may be a potential match.
An expression of interest:
- Is not a job offer
- Does not guarantee work
- Does not mean the driver is available
- Does not create an employment relationship
- Does not disclose the driver's private trip history or contact information to the company
Drivers decide whether they want to view the company, apply, ignore the interest, or mark themselves not interested.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell drivers' personally identifying trip records to driveaway companies.
We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
We may use third-party providers for services such as:
- Hosting
- Authentication
- App infrastructure
- Analytics
- Error monitoring
- Payment processing
- Other operational services
These providers may receive information necessary to perform services for Driveaway Hub.
De-Identified and Aggregated Information
We may provide companies, subscribers, partners, or customers with de-identified or aggregated statistics, analytics, benchmarks, and reports derived from Driveaway Hub data.
User-Directed Sharing
We may display information that a user has intentionally chosen to make available, including Driver Discovery fields, reviews, shuttle listings, or other community content.
Legal and Safety Requirements
We may preserve or disclose information where reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or governmental request
- Protect the rights or safety of Driveaway Hub, users, or others
- Investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
Business Transactions
If Driveaway Hub is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, sale, reorganization, or transfer of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.
8. Advertising and Sponsorships
Driveaway Hub may display advertising, sponsored resources, affiliate offers, discounts, or commercial partnerships.
We may use general information about the Service or its audience to offer advertising or sponsorship opportunities.
If we introduce advertising technologies that use personal information for targeted advertising or tracking, we will provide any notices, permissions, or privacy choices required by applicable law and platform rules.
The introduction of advertising does not change our commitment that private driver trip records will not be provided to advertisers as personally identifiable trip histories.
9. Company Reviews
Company reviews reflect the opinions and experiences of the users who submit them.
Reviews and ratings may contribute to aggregate company ratings, sentiment statistics, and other Driveaway Hub analytics.
Companies may be allowed to respond to reviews but are not provided with a reviewer's private account information merely because they respond to or disagree with a review.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.
No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and notifying us if they believe an account has been compromised.
11. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal requirements, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Users may request deletion of their accounts through available account controls or by contacting us.
When an account is deleted, personal information associated with the account will be deleted or de-identified as appropriate, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, recordkeeping, and other legitimate retention requirements.
Information that has already been aggregated or de-identified so that it can no longer reasonably be linked to the user may be retained and used after account deletion.
Public or community content may also be retained in de-identified form where reasonably necessary to preserve the integrity of discussions, ratings, reviews, company responses, and historical analytics, subject to applicable law.
12. Your Privacy Choices

- Review or update account information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete their account
- Enable or disable Driver Discovery
- Choose which eligible Discovery fields are shared

13. Children's Privacy
Driveaway Hub is intended for users who are at least 18 years old.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 through the Service.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
