  2. Good to great in all area’s. I started in 2016, so 7+ years as of this post. If you are looking to be a ‘true independent contractor,’ this is a good company. Very little involvement from the carrier other than what is mandated by the shippers. Carrier does require 1 trip every 30 days.
Upsides are having a load board, adequate fuel pay, work nation wide, regular shippers, quick settlements
Down side are breakdown pay, vague descriptions of used units and (sometimes) recruiting.
I’ve heard from others that cpm is not as high as some carriers but I look at net per day for all days away from home and I do better than ‘OK.’ No training is provided as you are an independent contractor.

  3. Awesome people and usually lots of work all over. Main issue is LOWER than average pay. Overall good to be associated with though.

  4. Been with them as a 2nd company for 5 yrs and has work fine so far. Pay not the greatest but you do get your money quick, they have a big load board and you have 60 days to run a unit. Over all I have no complaints!!

  5. Large company. That can be a good thing and a bad thing. They use “agents” instead of dispatchers. The quality of “agents” vary quite a bit. They have both linehaul runs and linehaul + FSC runs, The linehaul only runs are some of the lowest rates with driveaway companies. But as fuel rises, so does their FSC which can make those runs some of the highest paying. They don’t pay for attempted pickups. They also advertise that they pay bonuses for “CLEAN” DOT inspections. That’s not entirely true and they will throw a lot of stipulations at you to get out of paying. They also will not let you book a load further than 24 hours out, which can make it difficult to plan your week. When I signed on, I had to go to San Antonio for orientation. They reimbursed me $75 for a room after my first run. Orientation was quick and easy, but didn’t really cover a lot of important stuff.

  6. I use to work here, however it’s a great company with very nice people.
When I had to leave to take care of my Mom and attend to other matters, the Bennett ETO staff was very supportive.
I would highly recommend this Company for any decent CDL and Non-CDL Holder.
I will surely miss them, however I hope the Loadboard will get busier.
