Pinch Hitches

For those of you who are curious how drivers with tow cars can hook up to so many types of trucks,  they are using what is called a pinch hitch (or frame rail hitch) As the name implies these devices spread from rail to rail and using cupped set screws they “Pinch” the frame to secure it. There are a few varieties of them but they all work in the same basic way.

Prices will vary but I believe Martins Welding comes in the cheapest with a price around $550 plus shipping.
